Description

Roon Music Server built with the NUC 13 Pro and using silent fanless cooling

This NUC 13 Pro uses the 13th Gen i3 1315U processor with "Intel 7" hybrid architecture. In total there are 6 cores, using a combination of 2 Performance-cores and 4 Efficient-cores. This enables faster performance while also being power and heat efficient.

The "palm sized" 1.06L solid aluminium case is used for fanless cooling. The heat is extracted from the processor and transferred to the cooling fins. This is totally silent with no moving parts.

The system is configured for use as a dedicated Roon Music Server. The 240GB SATA SSD is pre-installed with Roon ROCK, and an optional PCIe 4.0 SSD can be used for your music library. Both SSDs are cooled by being connected to the aluminium case with thermal pads.
