We now have the latest Seagate Barracuda 2TB Hard Drives, which have the new 1TB per plattter technology. This enables only 2 platters to be used for 2TB, whereas 3 platters were needed before.

This new technology enables the 2TB drive to have the low power consumption of Green drive, but the speed of a 7200rpm drive.

Available now in the Taurus LCD Dual Disk RAID, with Firewire 800, eSATA and USB2 ports:
