Description

This TOP QUALITY external quad-disk RAID drive is aimed at professional audio / video editors, or those serious about performance and reliability of their data.

All the major 4-disk RAID configurations are possible, including RAID 5, which protects from single disk failure and provides capacity equal to 3 disks out of the 4. Other configurations are also possible by changing the slider on the back of the enclosure (and pressing the reset button). See the detailed panel (right). Please note that your data is lost when you switch between different RAID modes, so it must be set before you start adding data.

This product is aimed at PC users with fast eSATA or USB 3.0 ports, or standard USB 2.0 ports. You will get significantly faster performance using eSATA or USB 3.0.

You can eject and change disk drives easily using the disk doors on the front of the unit. No screws are needed.

Please contact us if you want us to supply disk drives pre-fitted into the enclosure. Otherwise you will need to fit your own choice of disks.

The whole product has a 2 year warranty.
