Description

This great value external dual-disk RAID drive enclosure is great for those needing performance and data safety. Fit 2 disk drives of your own choice, up to 2 x 3TB are supported. Using the disk in its RAID 1 Mirror configuration will cause your data to be automatically written to both disks at the same time. If a disk failed, then your data would be safely held, and can still be accessed, on the other disk drive.

Other dual disk configurations are also possible by changing the slider on the front of the enclosure (and pressing the reset button). Please note that your data is lost when you switch between different RAID modes, so it must be set before you start adding data.

This product is aimed at PC users with fast usb 3.0 ports, or standard USB 2.0 ports. You will get significantly faster performance using USB 3.0.

You can eject and change disk drives easily using the disk doors on the front of the unit. No screws are needed.
