Description

This TOP QUALITY external dual-disk RAID network drive is aimed at those who don't want to compromise when it comes to their data. With fast reliable disks and Gigabit networking, you have everything you need for an office shared server, for media or documents.

Uses very latest Samsung EcoGreen F4EG Series disk to deliver new levels of hard drive data density, capacity and reliability. The disk drives use the very latest 667GB per platter technology, achieving the massive 2TB with only 3 platters inside (instead of 4 or 5 with older disks). As a result these disks are fast but use less power and generate less noise and heat.

This product works wonderfully with any PC or Mac.

The Network disk is administered using a web interface from a PC or Mac. Out of the box it has a public shared folder, but you can add user specific folders, and set up an FTP server, iTunes server and BitTorrent client. A printed manual explains all the features in full. Copying folders of MP3 music... Write: 15MB/s, Read: 22MB/s

Copying DVD Video files... Write: 17 MB/s, Read: 33 MB/s
