Were do you start to describe such an impressive device? For most people the key use of this product is to sit under a HD TV to display all your media files simply and easily. You can use the fast USB 3.0 (or USB 2.0) connection to your PC to initially copy any movies from your PC onto it's internal hard drive. Or media files can be copied onto the media player over a network connection, from a memory card, or by plugging in a USB memory stick or external disk drive into one of its 5 USB 2.0 ports.
When connected to your network, it works as a shared file server that you can access from a PC/Laptop/iPad. The network connection also enables you to access internet media sources, like Youtube, and even some websites like Picasa, Facebook and Twitter. It can play internet radio stations and can download BitTorrent media files.
The disk drive inside is the very latest Green Low Power range, saving typically 50% of power compared to standard disks. The product is quiet and can be used in a living room.
A remote control enables the simple menu to be navigated so you can select the media to play. You can create playlists or slideshows, as well as just pick a movie to watch.
Most popular file types are supported by the media player. Please see the specifications for the full list.
You can use the disk to store over 800 hours of DVD video, 2000 DivX Movies, 260,000 MP3 songs, 680,000 photos (at 6 Megapixel resolution) or even as a massive disk for data or backups.
We also stock a compatible wireless 802.11n USB dongle for the P3700. This connects to 802.11n and 802.11g wireless networks.

The media player is used in 4 main modes.
1) Standalone Media Player. When detached from a PC it can be connected to a TV (using HDMI, SCART, composite video connector, or component video connectors). You then use the remote control to select which media you want to play.
2) Internet Media Streamer. When connected to your router, it is able to browse internet media sites, like Youtube, Twitter, Picaso, using your remote control and output to the TV.
3) Network Disk Drive. When connected to your network router it can be used as a shared network folder. You can create folders and copy files onto the disk. Stream media to any PCs on your network, or from them onto the TV.
4) External USB3 (or USB2) Disk Drive. You connect the disk to your PC and use it just like any other external disk drive. You can create folders and copy files onto the disk.

Below are screenshot photos at standard resolutions, so the quality is not any where near as high quality as the real image you will experience on a HD 1080p resolution TV. But hopefully they give a flavour of some of the features!
